David Brooks graduated summa cum laude from Taylor University in May 2010, where he majored in history. The “Beyond Boston” paper was the subject of his presentation at the annual Butler University Undergraduate Research Conference in April 2010, and also won the “Best Paper” award for the Colonial America course at Taylor in the fall of 2009. During this past summer, he worked as a public programming intern at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, New York. Aspiring to teach American history, he plans to continue his education in graduate school beginning in the fall of 2011.
